Description:
Henri Duparc wrote only a handful of pieces before he abruptly stopped composing, but his songs are the best of the batch. Only 17 of them exist, and the superb Czech soprano Magdalena Kozena has five of them to offer with one of the world's greatest orchestras — the Royal Concertgebouw — to accompany her.
Produced in partnership with Radio Netherlands Worldwide
