Kurt Masur turned 80 this summer and for the occasion, he created an amazing house band out of two powerhouse orchestras: the London Philharmonic Orchestra and the Orchestra National de France. Together they turned a special birthday concert into a bit of history. This week, we’re in London at the BBC Proms as we continue our summer tour through Europe.
