Description:
When Russian pianist Alexander Kobrin won 1st prize at the 2005 Van Cliburn Competition, he fell in love with the Competition’s home state of Texas. In fact, while he lives and teaches in Moscow, he splits his time between his home there and one in Fort Worth. This week, he joins Claus Peter Flor and the Dallas Symphony in a virtuosic performance of Liszt’s Concerto No. 2 for piano and orchestra.
